Our Story
The Son of Man Restoration was founded out of personal experiences.
After losing close friends to addiction in the Colerain area, Kevin McGowan felt led to create a place of refuge, healing, and hope for men seeking lasting recovery. With over eight years of hands-on experience working in recovery and a strong biblical foundation, Kevin envisioned more than just a sober living home—he envisioned a ministry of restoration.

The Son of Man Restoration provides men with a structured, faith-based environment where they can rebuild their lives, strengthen their relationship with God, and find freedom from addiction. Our mission is simple but powerful: to restore lives through faith, accountability, and community. We believe anyone can be given direction, and with the right support, they can rise again—stronger and renewed.
What We Believe
We believe that no one is too lost to be found. We stand together and work together
to solve our problems. We do this through values like integrity, hard work and accountability. We guide people to better lives by helping them work on their relationships. We are creating a better future by helping the community to clean up the past.

The Son of Man Restoration has a mission to spread hope. What makes us different is our
approach and background. We will restore communities by conquering homelessness,
mental illness and addiction through our housing and staff. We will guide individuals
to solutions with our expertise and experience.
